How long does 12 grams of CO2 last in BB pistols
This is because different CO2 BB guns use gas at different rates, and sometimes ambient temperature or rate of fire can make a big difference too! The shortest standard 12 gram CO2 cartridge has lasted is 26 shots— the longest is 168 shots.
How many shots of 12g CO2?
When shooting a typical .68 or .50 caliber projectile a single 12-gram CO2 cartridge can produce anywhere from 30 to 20 shots dependent on temperature, valve settings, rate of fire, and blowback.
What is 12g CO2 used for
Used in a projectile weapon, this cartridge is utilized by several paintball guns for maintaining their power. Paintball guns or large air rifles, or airsoft guns that have an automatic fire capability usually use larger gas cartridges to store CO2, or even at times, small compression tanks.

How much pressure is 12g of CO2?
How much psi would a standard 12 gram CO2 air gun cartridge take before exploding? At room temperature of 20 C (68F), the vapor pressure of the L/g CO2 in the cartridge is already 60 atmospheres. This is roughly equivalent 900 psi. The cartridge is made of thick steel with a thin welded cap. Above 88F the distinction between gas and liquid disappears. and the pressure can approach 1100 psi. CO2 cartridges are susceptible to spontaneous explosion when exposed to high temperatures. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO HEAT THEM!
